1. About this policy

Orion (“we”, “us” or “our”) is operated by a company incorporated in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. This policy explains how information is handled when you use our screener and related services.

2. Information we handle

• Browser settings. Favorites, columns, filters, custom presets, alert rules, alert history and onboarding progress are stored in your browser. These settings are not synced to an Orion account. Requests for market data and charts still send the information needed to load that content.
• Technical information. Our servers and service providers may receive your IP address, browser and device information, referring page, requested URLs, timestamps and error or security information.
• Usage information. Analytics helps us understand visits and important actions, including successfully creating an alert, saving a custom filter and completing onboarding. Our custom analytics events do not include alert names, filter names or their rules.
• Messages you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to provide. Please do not send passwords, private keys or other sensitive credentials.

The screener does not require an account, connect to your trading account, hold funds or place trades.

3. How information is used

We use information to provide the service, remember your preferences, understand which features are useful, diagnose errors, prevent abuse and respond to requests. We may also use or disclose information to meet legal obligations or protect legal rights.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, this may include providing a service you request, our legitimate interests in running and securing the service, legal obligations or consent where required. This policy does not itself give consent to optional tracking.

4. Analytics, cookies and third parties

We use Google Analytics and Humblytics to understand use of the service. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers and processes usage and device information. Our Google Analytics configuration disables Google signals and advertising personalization signals.

Hosting and security providers, including Cloudflare, process technical requests to deliver and protect the website. Embedded TradingView charts can receive information directly from your browser and use their own cookies or similar technologies; see TradingView’s privacy policy. External links and services such as Discord and Telegram have their own privacy policies.

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Applicable protections and rights can vary by location. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Your choices and rights

You can clear Orion’s site data in your browser to remove locally saved settings and alerts. This resets your saved workspace. Browser permissions control notifications; browser privacy settings and content blockers can limit cookies or third-party requests. Some features may be affected.

Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Clearing cookies or browser data does not automatically delete information already received by service providers.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, request a portable copy, withdraw consent or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to make a request. We may need reasonable information to verify it; some requests are subject to legal exceptions.

6. Retention and security

Browser settings remain until you remove them or your browser clears them. Other information is kept for the period needed for its purpose, such as handling support requests, security investigations or legal obligations; service providers also apply their own retention settings. Backup copies may remain until their normal replacement cycle.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

7. Children and policy changes

Orion is intended for adults aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
